lucky-mate-australia.com covers a single casino for a single country. Brodie Kerr, who analyses pokies and payments, writes it with one aim: to turn Lucky Mate’s rules into Australian dollars and days, and to tie each claim to a source you could open yourself. The site has no connection to the casino’s operation. We hold no player accounts and can’t settle disputes with the operator.
For the findings themselves, start on our Lucky Mate review page. What follows is the method behind them.
Who writes the site
Every page is written and updated by Brodie Kerr. Most of the job is reading. That covers the operator’s terms and cashier pages, the Curaçao and Tobique registers, the ACMA blocked list and the providers’ own RTP pages, plus what players report on Trustpilot, Casino Guru and the App Store. No credentials are invented here, and you won’t see deposit or withdrawal “tests” that were never actually made. When a page models a deposit or a cash-out, it tells you so, and the arithmetic follows the operator’s published rules.
Where our facts come from
From our connection the live Lucky Mate site won’t load, so we rely on archived copies of the operator’s pages and on its cashier code. We haven’t tried to get around that block. The dates in the table show which version each fact comes from.
| Source | What we take from it | Version or check date |
|---|---|---|
| Operator’s site, archived | Welcome package, wagering, payment methods, verification documents, support hours | Main copy 19 May 2026; limits table October 2025 |
| Curaçao Gaming Authority register | Whether BrillianteFin Development N.V. or licence 365/JAZ appears | 21 September 2026 edition |
| Tobique register | Company details for BrillianteFin Development N.V. (no. 158519) | Entry expired 8 August 2025 |
| ACMA blocked websites list | Block on luckymate.com and luckymatecasino.com | Announced 13 February 2026, checked October 2026 |
| Pragmatic Play game pages | Official RTP for the pokies we name | October 2026 |
| Trustpilot, Casino Guru, App Store | Player complaints and listing details | 2 October 2026 |
Where the operator’s pages contradict each other, both versions go on the page. Take the welcome free spins: 100 in the 2025 copies, 150 by May 2026.
How we judge Lucky Mate
Lucky Mate gets no score out of five from us. One number would average things that shouldn’t be averaged, and no pokies lobby, however strong, makes up for a licence that can’t be verified. Six areas get a verdict in plain words instead (Strong, Mixed or Weak), and the relevant page explains each one.
| Area | What decides the verdict | Current verdict |
|---|---|---|
| Pokies range | Providers in the lobby, official RTPs, Australian favourites | Strong |
| PayID and payouts | Methods in AUD, processing time, weekly and monthly caps | Mixed |
| Bonus terms | Wagering formula, what is published and what is missing | Mixed |
| Trust and licence | Register entries, ACMA status, complaint patterns | Weak |
| Support | Hours, channels and response times reported by testers | Mixed |
| Mobile access | Browser play on phones, status of any app | Mixed |
The home page shows only the first four, since they decide most outcomes for Australian players. As for the other two: support is staffed 16:00–10:00 GMT+11, which leaves a gap every day, and Casino Guru waited seven days for a reply in March 2026. On mobile the browser version does the job, while the App Store listing comes from a developer we couldn’t connect to the operator.
What we will not write
A few reassuring phrases have no support in the records, so they stay off the site. Lucky Mate is never described here as holding an Australian licence, because no such licence exists. Withdrawals aren’t called instant either, since the operator’s own rule allows 48 hours and leaves out weekends. There’s no advice on getting around ACMA blocks, and winnings are never presented as a reason to play. The licence reasoning is laid out in full in our licence check.
What we could not verify
- Live versions of the operator’s pages after May 2026, since the site blocks our connection.
- Any current licence certificate. We found no BrillianteFin entry in the Curaçao register’s 21 September 2026 edition.
- Terms the operator does not publish, such as bonus expiry, the maximum bet while a bonus is active, and loyalty thresholds.
- Whether the App Store app is connected to the operator.
Corrections and updates
Each page shows an “Updated October 2026” date. The registers and the ACMA list change without notice, so we recheck both before every update. If a figure here no longer matches the casino, the contact page in the footer reaches us directly; confirmed errors get fixed, with the new check date noted. Readers’ common questions are gathered under reader questions.
